Parasite reigns supreme, Brad Pitt should win an award for his awesome acceptance speeches and Wes Anderson’s new film with half of Hollywood starring will be here soon ?

Parasite is unstoppable, but can it take over the Oscars?

Could a Korean movie win an Oscar for the best picture as the first foreign film in history? If anyone ever had a chance, it’s this both hilarious and chillingly dark Cannes winner about a poor family leeching off the rich (or vice versa). Sounds unlikely? Well, check out who’s crushing the award race. Safe to say, whatever happens at the Oscars, Parasite has had a legendary run.

Sundance & Berlinale & exciting new indies

One award season is ending and another one begins, with some of the most interesting film festivals out there. Sundance is in full swing with the coolest indies ready for a bright future, and Berlinale just announced their impressive lineup!

Wes Anderson’s The French Dispatch is almost here!

Another film from the master of quirkiness, Wes Anderson, another unbelievable mix of stars. Benicio del Toro, Jeffrey Wright, Adrien Brody, Léa Seydoux, Tilda Swinton, Owen Wilson, Bill Murray, Frances McDormand, Timothée Chalamet… Wow. The French Dispatch, “a love letter to journalists”, will be released on July 24th!

Brad Pitt is a master of acceptance speeches

He wanted to use his SAG award as a Tinder picture, he made fun of his Once Upon a Time in Hollywood role (“a guy who takes his shirt off, gets high and doesn’t get on with his wife) and looked at his co-star Leo DiCaprio with so much love that it melted hearts. Apparently, his speeches are basically scientifically perfect 🙂 Let’s give this charmer his Oscar!

We bet you didn’t know this about Once Upon a Time in Hollywood

Speaking of Brad Pitt… His latest film, Once upon a Time in Hollywood, is up for 10 Oscars, and here are 10 things you should know about (yet another) Tarantino’s masterpiece.
