Avengers: Infinity War – 2018

Thanos, a mass murderer played by Josh Brolin, sets out on a mission to find the Infinity Stones, perceived to be the most powerful and valuable objects in the entire universe being gems with astonishing powers such as being able to control time. Thanos is of the belief that if has these gems he will have the power and ability to dispose of half of the population of the universe just by a single thought. A number of superheroes such as The Hulk, Iron Man, Thor, Black Widow, amongst many others, stand in his way.

This array of superheroes are determined to prevent Thanos from obtaining these artefacts and fight him across several worlds, including Earth. Many battles ensue, so who will win the ultimate battle?

Many big names appear in the movie including Benedict Cumberbatch, Scarlett Johansson along with the voices of Vin Diesel and Bradley Cooper.

Avengers Endgame – 2019

This movie follows on from the Infinity War and the culmination of the battles that Thanos instigated. Yet another huge battle is planned with those characters namely Thor, Black Widow and the likes. The scene is set for a massive showdown.

They track down a heavily battle scarred Thanos with the intent on taking back the Infinity Stones from him. They come across him completely undefended and alone. He is wearing the Infinity Gauntlet which they need desperately. His arm is instantly severed but the Gauntlet is empty. The Stones have gone! Thanos apparently removed the Stones himself, almost killing himself, as he believes his work was done, and wanted to avoid using the powers again.

Thor proceeds to behead Thanos but there are no celebrations as the victims of the monster cannot be brought back from the dead. Their mission is not successful. Where does this go now?

Spider-Man No Way Home – 2021

Peter Parker, played by Tom Holland, also known as the superhero, Spider-Man, has had his cover completely blown by an old enemy of his, Mysterio. This results in Peter attempting to seek a way out of this disastrous situation. He has been fully compromised and can’t operate in his superhero guise.

The situation worsens and becomes even more dangerous when he approaches Dr. Strange for assistance. Could this be the answer or will it just worsen the whole situation which is the way it seems to be going.

As anticipated, Dr. Strange’s “assistance” goes terribly wrong. Peter then has to then battle a whole new group of enemies, including the Green Goblin and the Lizard. Peter now has to fully understand that he needs to really perform his skills as Spider-Man.

Iron Man – 2008

Robert Downey Junior stars as Tony Stark in this movie in the title role. Being a hugely talented inventor and also a billionaire playboy, he is tasked with involving himself in weapons testing overseas with an Iraqi group.

While on this mission, Tony is given a ride along enemy lines. The Humvee in which he is travelling gets ambushed and Tony is kidnapped by a terrorist group who want him to build a truly devastating weapon for them using his outstanding skills as an inventor. He convinces them he is following their instructions but in reality he builds a suit of armour which he uses to defeat the terrorist group. Iron Man is well and truly formed.

On his return to the US, Tony decides to make refinements to his suit and intends to use to beat criminals and terrorists. Unbeknown to Tony, the new boss of his Company, Stark Industries, put in place during Tony’s overseas mission, has different ideas and intends to take over the technology Tony has invented. Where do things go from here?

Black Panther – 2018

T’Challa, played by Chadwick Boseman, following the passing away of his Father, returns to his homeland in Africa, Wakanda, to succeed to the throne, and take on his rightful role. Unfortunately there is a well known old and very powerful enemy awaiting him which threatens his new role as King. This is going to put him and his nation in grave danger.

T’Challa immediately is forced to take on his role as Black Panther in order to go into battle and he adopts the position to save not just himself but the people of Wakanda and even the whole world could be at risk. A testing role for sure.

The young King has to decide who his allies are and who are his enemies so that he can defeat those rallying against him in order to overpower his foes and bring peace and order back to his nation. Will he succeed?
